Terms and Conditions

Working hours are 8AM to 5PM, this includes travel to and from site. Jobs will be completed in one of three time slots, these are an AM visit consisting of 4.5 hours (8AM to 12:30PM), PM visit consisting of 4.5 hours (12:30PM to 5PM) and a full day consisting of 9 hours (8AM to 5PM)

If a job requires additional time due to fault finding etc, this may need lead to a revisit. Additional time spent on the job on the day will be dependant other commitments. If the day allows for additional time, it will be charged at £30 per hour rounded up to the nearest hour. Upto 10 mins past an hour will not incurre an additional charge.

Invoice will be sent once the works have been complete and you are happy with the outcome. I would appreciate it if invoices were payed within 7 days of receipt. Payment can be made via bank transfer of which the details are on the invoice or if you prefer to make a card payment on the day, if this is possible pending technology and signal working, and an invoice/receipt will be issued to you within 7 days via email. Cash is not a preferred method of payment, however is still accepted.

Insurance cover held by Tide-Teck stands at £10 Million. This is above what is generally required, however, certain marinas require a higher level of cover as part of there own policies. If you have any questions regarding the cover and feel you need it increased, please get in touch and I will amend accordingly.

Any quote provided by Tide-Teck will be for an amount to cover the works that has been requested by yourself. between us, we will agree the works to be carried out and Ill provide a quote for this along with the agreed master works list. The quote will include materials and labour. A quote will not be provided for some works that include fault finding etc, due to there nature.

Any estimate provided by Tide-Teck will be a best guess/realistic amount for the works to be carried out. In the event that the estimate is going to be exceeded, I will contact you to discuss further actions in relation to the job in hand, what has gone wrong and in particular, WORKING HOURS and ADDITIONAL HOURS stated above.
